Balancing friends and a relationship
When the person you are dating or seeing is not from the same group of friends with which you hang out, it is important to try and make it easy for everyone to get along. You can make this happen by introducing them, making them comfortable with each other and planning get together that everyone will enjoy. If your friends and partner do not get along, it puts you in a position where you have to choose between one or the other. This will put stress on both relationships. You will feel very uncomfortable when everyone is together. In order to make it work, you’ll need to make sure that whoever you didn’t choose to spend time with understand and doesn’t take it personal. You must divide your time equally. No matter who you choose, someone will always get hurt and this will make you resent it. However if your friends and partner love you, they will try and get along so that you don’t have to make a choice. On the other hand if everyone does get along and something happens between you and your partner, your friends will be the ones to make the choice. But no matter what it is a risk you have to take because it will great if your partner and friends all get along.
